“The Sustainability Consortium: Science to Improve Consumer Product Sustainability” Thursday January 26, 2012 — Tokyo, Japan

This seminar will provide an overview of The Sustainability Consortium mission, goals and activity. Our goal is to learn how The Sustainability Consortium can cooperate and collaborate with Japanese industry, academia, and government. Distinguished professor Dr. Atsushi Inaba of Kogakuin University will be hosting the seminar. Speaking will be Academic Director Dr. Kevin Dooley, a Distinguished Professor of Supply Chain Management at Arizona State University, and Research Director Dr. Greg Thoma, Professor of Chemical Engineering at University of Arkansas. The seminar will also feature a number of speakers from corporate members of The Consortium. The workshop is sponsored by the Society of Non-Traditional Technology, The Sustainability Consortium, and BASF.
