January 18, 2022 TEMPE, AZ, FAYETTEVILLE, AR The Sustainability Consortium (TSC) is excited to welcome Dan “Sunny” Schlesinger as our new Director of Finance. Schlesinger joins TSC from TSC member, The Health and Happiness Group (H&H). In this new role, he will lead TSC’s financial direction, forecasting and revenue stream planning. Before H&H, he served as a Financial Analyst for the Competitor Group, Inc. and Leaf & Cole, LLP. Dan learned more about TSC when he attended the 2019
Summit where he attended sessions that furthered his interests in systems change and sustainability.

TSC was founded through a memorandum of understanding between the University of Arkansas and Arizona State University and Schlesinger will lead our efforts with both universities in order to help TSC grow our resources into the future. As Director of Finance, he will join the TSC leadership team to set TSC’s strategic direction.

Schlesinger most recently has traveled the U.S. with his wife and dog and is passionate about the outdoors. He will be located in the Northwest Arkansas region. He received his Masters of Accountancy and Bachelor in Accounting from Case Western Reserve University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

 

Dan Schlesinger Bio:
Dan “Sunny” Schlesinger joins TSC as our Director, Finance, from a background in finance related to manufacturing and consulting. Schlesinger served as the Sr Finance Manager at the Health and Happiness Group, and before that as a financial analyst at the Competitor Group, Inc and Leaf & Cole, LLP. Schlesinger received his Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Accounting from Case Western Reserve University. His expertise lies in problem solving, budgeting and forecasting, and communicating with executive teams. He is passionate about combating climate change and the outdoors. He recently spent 18 months in an RV traveling the country with his wife and Australian shepherd named Arya.
