Thomas “TC” Redd, manager of the Consumer Science Working Group at The Sustainability Consortium, will be participating in an expert panel on “eco-babble” and consumer-facing communication. The Food Marketing Institute (FMI) and Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA), working together as the Trading Partner Alliance (TPA), are hosting the 2011 Sustainability Summit, bringing together retailers, manufacturers, government and advocacy groups around the common goal of environmentally responsible business practices. The event will be held on September 12-14 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
