TEMPE,AZ – October 30th, 2012 – The Sustainability Consortium and The Global Institute of Sustainability are excited to participate in the GreenBiz VERGE @ Green Build event November 12 & 13 at the Intercontinental Hotel in San Francisco.

The VERGE conference series began in 2011 and brings together leaders and indicators to talk about the opportunities created by the convergence of building, transportation, information and energy technologies. Tracks include; Smarter Supply Chains, Energy, Utilities & the Cloud, Cities 2.0, Connected Vehicles and, Next-Gen Buildings, Facilities & Campuses. The keynote speech titled “The Power of a Billion-Member Platform,” will be given by Bill Weihl, Manager of Energy Efficiency and Sustainability of Facebook who will speak about how Facebook activates a billion-member platform to reduce energy consumption while providing leadership and transparency in data center design and sustainability.

TSC will be well represented from member organizations including Kevin Evans, Laura Farnham and Clay Nesler from Johnson Controls and Elizabeth Fretheim from Walmart.
