ELECTRONICS TAKEBACK

ABOUT

Managing used electronics is a key sustainability issue not only for electronics and electronic component manufacturers, but for all organizations that use electronic devices in their operations or in their supply chain. While some systems are already in place, the rate of change in the form and function of electronic devices complicates used electronics management.

Activities at TSC on this topic focus on understanding where we are today and how the current state of affairs needs to change to create a sustainable management system, developing the guidelines and metrics to enable this evolution, and providing thought leadership on the impacts of evolving electronic devices. The work in electronics coordinates closely with TSC’s work in the circular economy.
